When evaluating the Participant Incentive programs for one of our larger and most beloved clients, we saw a need to relieve the burden on staff in the delivery of recognition rewards, without diluting their authority as main contacts. We have developed and implemented a program that accomplished both. We created a web based redemption portal that worked with certificates redeemable for corresponding rewards. This system allowed for recognition of volunteers, and elevated the staff's ability to order, receive and deliver the reward. Relay Gear was only the tool, not the focus. In addition to easing the burden on the staff, Relay Gear has made program an invaluable marketing tool by adding a survey. This completely customizable survey allows staff members to review events, and asks participants how to make improvements next year.
Our client, an impressive and global charitable organization, came to us because they wanted to outsource the production, fulfillment and shipping of their merchandise. We've successfully taken over these activities by creating and keeping merchandise in a catalog program and online, staffing customer service representatives to process fulfillment orders, and picking, packing and shipping all merchandise from our onsite warehouse. Relay Gear saw the need to provide one of our clients with merchandise to help increase the dollar volume being raised at their events nationwide. Based on the feedback we received from staff and volunteers, we delivered a kit of merchandise ready to sell at their event with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the cause. We provide each team a merchandise kit on consignment to be sold at events by volunteers and regional staff. Every item sold increased the total dollar amount raised for their team. Unsold merchandise is shipped back after each event and Relay Gear issues a check directly to our non-profit client for their divisions' selling efforts.
We Get Efficiency! Our sales department noticed that during our customer's busy season, their system had many purchasing and distributing inefficiencies for their internal meetings and rallies. We approached our customer with a program concept to help consolidate their meeting supply needs through standardizing the items offered for each division and utilizing our fulfillment center for better control of distribution. The end result was a successful launch of the "Meeting-in-a-box" delivered cost effectively and cost-efficiently to each and every person involved.
